English Premier League side, Manchester United are ready to take a final decision on Antonio Valencia’s future at the club.
The defender is expected to leave the Old Trafford on a free transfer following the clause in his contract. The Ecuador international’s current contract at the club will expire at the end of the season.
According to Sun, the United board is expected to take a decision on Valencia’s future by March 1, 2019 or the player is free to negotiate his exit.
The report claimed that United’s board can trigger an option to extend the 33-year-old stay for another 12 months. Valencia has played less games under the coaching of Jose Mourinho.
Recall that he had liked a post on Instagram calling for Mourinho to be sacked.
