Former presidential aide under Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s administration, Reno Omokri has slammed President Muhammadu Buhari over the dethronement as Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi Emir of Kano.
According to the Amazon best selling author who took to his social media account, Instagram precisely, President Buhari cannot deny his involvement in Muhammadu Sanusi’s dethronement which saw him banished from Kano State.
Reno noted in his statement that only a president can make available such heavily armed men who were spotted parading the Sanusi since his dethronement was announced.
He also states that Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje is no such authority to have banished Sanusi outside Kano environs without the support of the president.
He wrote: “How can General Buhari deny that he had a hand in Sanusi’s dethronement? What an unintelligent lie. Sanusi is being guarded by DSS agents. ONLY General Buhari, as Commander-in-Chief, can deploy armed DSS officials. Moreover, Sanusi has been banished to Nasarawa state.”
“Ganduje has no authority to banish Sanusi to any place beyond Kano state. Only General Buhari has such powers. Finally, and most importantly, Sanusi criticised General Buhari only 2 weeks to his dethronement. The Yoruba say ‘the bird flew at night, and the baby died the very next morning. Please, General Buhari, respect yourself and lie less!”
